Case Study: Launching A Facebook Page With Contests

When Stork Stack, a new Chicago business, wanted to expand their social audience, we looked to leverage a strategic partner.

In launching a Facebook page for Stork Stack, which delivers packages of products for new parents, we partnered the  in a giveaway with WubbaNub, makers of infant pacifiers who already had a large and engaged audience.

Launching A Facebook Page With Contests

We set the contest rules so that in order to enter to win a stack one must (1) click “like” on the Stork Stack Facebook page, (2) comment on the promoted Facebook post with your child’s name and favorite WubbaNub style, and (3) check back at a later date to see the three winners.

This drove people to the Stork Stack Facebook page to increase brand awareness.

Using strategic partnerships can help launch a new page.

Results

The contest lasted four days and brought more than 200 new likes to the Stork Stack Facebook page.

Recommendations

  • Use strategic partnerships to expand your message’s reach and create brand awareness for newly launched pages or brands
  • Feature contests with images that allow people to easily leave comments and re-share, resulting in more impressions
