#AMinspire Gems of the Week

“If you were rich, what would you buy for your best friend?”
@matt9322: If I had lots of money, would start making life packs for the homeless.
@Anonymous: If I have a lot of money, what would I buy for my best friend is… Nothing. Money has nothing to do with our true friendship. 🙂

“What makes you smile and sing?”
@kiesque: Hearing birds singing!

“How do you keep your heart healthy?”
@DTCchicago: Apparently not with red wine.
@jwsgt: Best cardio I have experienced outside the Military is @shaunTfitness #insanityworkout
@ChrisA9: Standing desk, exercise, healthy eating.

“What is the perfect day for you?”
@DanBellRushFan: I’m almost 54, so I’m not too picky! I’m still above ground, so that’s a good day! Yes, I know! Weird sense of humor. Have fun!
@scottnobleNS: A few ways. One spent w/ my family, a quiet day w/ a good book/movie & glass of wine, a dinner party w/ friends.
@curtislarkin: Clarity and seeing the simplicity in all the buckets of things going on that translate to good strategy. Now to execute.
@askewaskew: FRIDAY!
— Wow, nice definitions of a perfect day! Well, a perfect day for me is when I successfully face all the problems with a smile on my face. 🙂

“How do you turn an ordinary day to extraordinary?”
@mjtam: By making all the lil stuff matter. A smile, hot coffee, sun 🙂
@Schickie: Do something extraordinary to help someone else. Only way I know how.
January 25, 2012
“What makes you admire someone?”
@scottnobleNS: The way they treat others, their integrity.
@suttonstrong: What makes me admire someone is not where they are at now but what they did to get there.

“What is your favorite dessert and how often you succumb to eating it?”
@rcktorres: My favorite dessert would have to be tiramisu. Can’t go more than a few weeks (or so) without at least a slice. 🙂
@NoodlesinCHI: Banana pudding. Best part: it’s hard to find here (and tastes better when other people make it), so it’s a rare indulgence.
@lori_rains: Ice cream! Just about every night. Reminds me of my dad as that was our evening ritual! You can’t help but smile with ice cream.
@scottnobleNS: Moms homemade choc cake, a rare treat.

“For the ladies and the guys, which is the sweeter gift: flowers or chocolates?”
@DeafMom: Well for me, it’s chocolate all the way.
@GeekToMe: Give the gift of seasonal allergies or diabetes. #toughchoice
@bkhuonker: Neither. I prefer a quiet dinner, a glass of wine, and my beautiful wife.
@legalesque: Flowers! Much more visible and easier to show off. 😉
@xDeepS: Both!! Together!
@innalameda: AGREED – ALL the way chocolate! “
@DeafMom oh yeah, chocolate all the way!”
@AnaBlackstad: Chocolates for sure.
@mafiahairdreser: Flowers bad fung shui, chocolate:yuck. Show tickets = best!
— HA, chocolates!

“Which date is more romantic for you: a hiking weekend picnic or a candle light dinner?”
@mckra1g: Yes. 🙂 It depends.
@SOCOACH: Depends on the partner, really, and I’d happily treat Maria Sharapova to both. Still waiting for the note from my wife. @mckra1g
@Isoldebot86: Definitely hiking/picnic.
