Today I got three inquiries about my first generation iPad. Was I going to buy a new one, and if so, was I going to sell my first generation iPad.
It got me thinking… The average lifespan of a computer was considered to be 3 years. I only had the iPad 1 for approximately half a year. Does this make my iPad the dog of computers?
OK, I didn’t mean it like that. But we always talk about how 1 human year is 7 dog years. So what’s the age of my iPad in dog years?
Seems like new technology ages almost as fast as dogs do. Six months are the equivalent of 3 years, thus a 1 year old ipad is 6 years old in computer years.
So, do you think [your] iPad 1 an old dog?
P.S. Experts say to calculate dog-years we must use the following formula:
The formula is: 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after.
